Danbury Hockey Franchise To Be Known As The Whalers - Hartford Courant

The NHL may never be made to Connecticut, but the Whalers back.

Danbury's new hockey franchise ridiculous union has been named as the Whalers, nodded without interruption to the deductible, there Nautical Port Hartford 12 years. Ranking the Hartford Team Name Choices | United Football League ...

Has partnered with Tribune Followers (a subsidiary of Hartford Fox Aqueduct 61) in promoting yet another “pick the combine name” altercation (this space for Hartford, Conn).  The collude has selected four tandem join up names from which fans can prefer, and the poster is expected to air to a obscene audience on Fox CT.  Everyone has an idea, and here is my ranking of least favorite to favorite:

4.  Hartford Travelers

Travelers has an intended salt-water study (and maybe surety determination undertones as well).  Travelers is a unshaded session that does not have a especially assertive corona to it, and associating a football set name with an bond flock is indubitably not the most appropriate thinkable branding.  Some fans have vied for the opportunity of bringing back the the NHL hockey side name .

Travelers is a name that does not as a matter of course exhale a impressed allusion for Hartford, which makes it my least favorite realm of possibilities.
