There are less than a month Darren Sharper was euphoric as he walked through the streets of New Orleans during the epic Dat Tuesday victory celebration.
Yesterday he was gay. Today, he is annoyed.
Sharper was not satisfied with the decision of the Saints to abandon the franchise tag option and enable it to test the free agent market this offseason.
He told NFL.com 's Steve Wyche, "They told me they made me want to return, but if you want someone back, why are you going to let them test the market?I do not know how much they want me back if they are allowing other teams to bid for my services. Being in this situation before, if a team is willing to let you test the market they are willing to let you go. "
