There wasn't much glitz and magic when Scott Roelofs attended Wonderful Dish VII.

The Midland local was even part of the half-notwithstanding show Jan. 14, 1973, but any devoted memories from the anyhow have faded.

"It surely was not wholly the anyway in the reality it is today," said Roelofs, who was an 18-year-old trumpet performer with the University of Michigan marching combo unite when he attended the engagement at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

"I'm not even assured they sold the obligation out," he said. "Nowadays, they have a week of parties. I don't entertain the idea we flew in until two days before the recreation. It's not at all like you see today."

Roelofs, 53, has a vested interested in tonight's Wonderful Wheel XLII in Glendale, Ariz., pitting the undefeated New England Patriots against the New York Giants. The field begins at 6 p.m., televised on Convey 66, WSMH.

Roelofs sat in an end zone after the pack accompanied crooner Andy Williams and pack chairman Woody Herman. Roelofs then watched as the Miami Dolphins knocked off the Washington Redskins 14-7, completing the first and only holy flavour in NFL relation. Midland citizen Scott B.
