Bicycle Helmets.....?

We have 5 spry children and they live in their bike helmets.... the rule in our race is "if it has wheels you had better be wearing a helmet". Bicycle helmets are required by Law here in NYS and it amazes me how many children bear down on to my house without them.

Touch some of your local bicycle clubs; I've seen some run fundraisers to donate helmets to kids.

But, sounds like these aren't "wretched kids" but jsut that their parents don't enforce a helmet hold sway over like you do. Why not just talk to Mom n

What's the difference between bicycle helmets and skating helmets?

Because if you rely of a bicycle you could hurt your head the same way you could hurt your head while skating and falling on ice preferably of the pavement.

Skating helmets are designed to take several impacts and inundate more of the head. Cycling helmets are not designed for repeated impacts and are liter and outdo ventilated.

More than 51,000 cyclists have died in traffic accidents in the United States since 1932, according to the Federal Highway Safety Administration are in the trade. A federal cup in 2006 revealed that 773 cyclists were killed and over 44,000 wounded.
