What is the difference between a Topps and a Topps Tiffany baseball card?

I have both a 1992 Craig Biggio Topps baseball plan and the Topps Tiffany card of the same player and same year. What is the difference?

The Tiffany cards - which have a slick front as compared to regular Topps card - were only sold as sets and are more rare than a proportional Topps.
