I have blank non reversible Basketball Jerseys that are 100% Nylon, How Can I put Iron on Numbers on them?

I bought some Womens Basketball Jerseys that are emptiness so I can design them and put numbers and names on them myself with out costing a fortune. Any ideas for bevy and lettering, I have iron on numbers but not sure if will ruin the jerseys? Please Servants!

keep your iron on low warm up like a synthetic setting. put another cloth over the project before you iron and fever slowly- iron a bit and then let it start to cool then iron a bit more. that should conserve the jerseys from the heat of the iron.
