The games of the 80's with Bird, Voodoo, and Isiah were competitive and team oriented. Players weren't honest vying for the Most Valuable Player award, but trying to win and be shown themselves worthy to be all-stars.

I don't reflect on the All-Star game can ever go back to the good ol' days. Players make alot more greenbacks now than they did back then so that affects their effort level because they are too worried about getting injured in an unimportant game and missing out on that next
