Do jersey cows need to be milked after weaning off there calf?

We are ratiocinative about getting a few jersey cattle but don't want to have to milk them. We want to zigzag defy them out into the pasture.
We are planning on breeding them. But after we wean them we don't want to drain them.

If you requisite to help them out, milk them a little after calving and slow down. In other words, holiday just a tiny bit of milk in them each time and they will slowly dry up. Or let type take its course and they will dry up on their own.

I might be buying a jersey and I wanted to recall if anyone knew what number he wore. I cannot find it on any website or old photos. If anyone can assistants I greatly appreciate it.

It was appropriate 33.

I found a photo of Loney in a Vero Beach uniform, odds-on taken in 2002 or 2003. Unfortunately, it isn't perfectly cloudless what the number is. It looks like it is number 33.
